Japanese tea ceremony
Where is the place in the world, which has a very unique and so many culture ceremonies? Where people wearing traditional clothes, and traditional ceremony held in every season. Where is that place? Do you think that the answer is Japan! Bingo!! You got it. Japan is a country which has a big honor and appreciated to its ancestor and culture. Even when they’re successfully increased their economic rapidly and developed their technology very fast, they still doing a very simple ceremony at all. There are so many ceremonies at Japan and all of them related to art, and behave. One of famous ceremony in Japan is Japanese tea ceremony.
Japanese tea ceremony is not only about drinking a glass of tea in the living room. It is about art, behave, polite, and manner. This ceremony introduce by Japan ancestor tea specialist Murata Juko. It’s known as chat? (???) or cha no yu in the traditional culture; while in the daily conversation Japanese people call it ocha. The purpose of this ceremony is to welcome the visitor in very good way. The host has to decorate the room with a selected painting, beautiful flower, and delicious tea. They choose a special tea set based on the season. That’s way there are so many Japanese tea sets sold in Japan. The visitor has to show a good manner to respect their host. They must find a good conversation about art, and interesting topic.
